Our school performical ( Lester and Clyde )

Our school performical was on last night. It was at the hall. The hall was was filled with parents ready see their children. At the front of the hall were little green bushes where some little frogs hide. The hall was hot it even made me sweat. Our count down began with three loud beats"bang bang bang" the count down with the ukulele started. After four strums I started singing. After we sung the first three lines we sung the chores. When we sung it we danced with boots at the same time. After we finished the song it was our classes turn.

When we walked into the hall Aleaha and I had to go to the end of the hall. After we finished stomp I felt very happy of how it turned out. Then we sung yesterday. when we walked off my face went red. When we got out of the hall the choir people had to go to the back of the hall. When we got into the hall we sang please don't litter. After we sang we should work upon recycling. The clap of the crowd was loud. I said to my self "finally I'm finished".

Cross country

The small car park at Clive school is getting filled with children keen to run. The stone walls on the side were blocking the view of the runners getting ready to start. There were lines of children from eight year olds to 11 year olds. The car park started to get windy. The stone concrete was cold. The plants surrounded us as if they were cheering for us.

 The parents were waiting for their children to start the race. Then I heard Mr Wallace shout" year five girls please come up". We all lined up behind the line.

 All I could hear was Mr Wallace shout"On your marks get set BANG!"

 Tandia shot off like a cheater. Then I heard mum cheering for me "keep running Niva".

 So then I shot of for the finish line. 

I finily finished. I went to the table with Ane and she writ my number down. I was so surprised with what I came. I came tenth wow but I was a little upset though because I came seventh last year. But I was still happy with my number.

I started on level 2 I am now working on level 6 (adv)

Maths 11.9.14

I can put factions on a numberline by my self.

I can use ‘splits' to subtract numbers by my self.

I can take away bigger numbers too by my self.

I took ten off and used fingers to take away ones.
